Job Summary The Senior Sales Analyst role is crucial in providing comprehensive sales data analysis, developing product-level demand forecasts (Week 1–52 projections), and leading pricing governance and SOX compliance. The position involves evaluating category performance, driving cross-functional collaboration with procurement and supply chain, managing pricing packages (PIN/PMC), and presenting strategic insights to executive leadership. Here is a little more… As a Senior Sales Analyst you will… Conduct comprehensive analysis of product and category performance, including sales trends, market positioning, competitive performance, SKU productivity, and whitespace opportunities. Develop and manage product-level demand forecasts, covering quarterly and weekly (Week 1–52) projections, baseline and risk/opportunity forecast management, and quarterly ABC SKU reviews. Track and rank product performance based on revenue generation, sales velocity, and repeat purchase rates to provide regular insights for business reviews, board decks, and strategic discussions. Conduct market and competitor analysis through web scraping, data wrangling, and competitive tracking to evaluate portfolio performance and market trends. Partner closely with Product Development, Planning, Finance, and Procurement teams to support forecasting, planning, cannibalization analysis, and portfolio decision-making. Lead the end-to-end pricing package development process (PIN/PMC), securing approvals through leadership and ensuring compliance, accuracy, and centralized governance. Perform quarterly SOX compliance reviews to identify and investigate pricing discrepancies for internal and external audit requirements. Experience working with large datasets, demand forecasting frameworks, and financial/pricing compliance processes like SOX.
