Senior Project Manager - Transportation Design

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Transportation Design to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead complex transportation design projects from planning through execution, with a strong emphasis on coordinating multidisciplinary teams and aligning project delivery across stakeholders. The position requires close collaboration with clients, support teams, and other offices to manage scope, resources, schedules, and project risks. Success in this role will depend on the ability to balance technical, operational, and client-facing demands while maintaining quality, safety, and progress reporting standards. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $134,100 – $241,400 annually Responsibilities Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including preparing reports and presentations Coordinate project interactions in existing and occupied facilities Manage interdisciplinary teams of professionals Integrate conflicting elements into planning and execution processes Mobilize resources by liaising with support departments and other offices Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors Oversee the establishment of project plans, including Health and Safety and Quality Assurance plans Monitor project activity and report on progress Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field 15+ years of engineering management experience on large-scale programs Professional Engineer license required NCDOT/SCDOT project delivery experience required Ability to manage projects and interface with clients effectively Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and project management certification requirements Broad technical and business background Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan Flexible work schedules Comprehensive life insurance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
