Senior Project Buyer

Job Title: Senior Project Buyer Location: Golden Valley Minnesota 55422 Duration: FTE Salary Range : $85k-$100k annually Position Summary SUMMARY? We are seeking a Senior Project Buyer – Solar that will develop relationships with suppliers, solicit bids, analyze quotations, and select suppliers. RESPONSIBILITIES Purchase items and services at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements, and other factors Propose purchase transactions that higher authority approve prior to final action Arrange returns for unacceptable products to suppliers Track order status from the time of placing the order until delivery and communicate status to project teams Facilitate and run meetings internally and externally Enter purchase agreements and retain contact with suppliers to ensure delivery of material on a timely basis Enter purchase orders and retain contact with suppliers to ensure delivery of material on a timely basis Visit job sites or offices annually at a minimum to develop more effective working relationships Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, construction management, or related discipling or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience 4+ years of procurement experience and/or experience in a similar role Knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials, purchasing processes, and procedures (preferred) Project Management experience (preferred) Understanding of the construction industry (preferred) Negotiating, organizing, planning, verbal, and communication skills Strong customer service and analytical skills Active listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback Software experience Current driver's license #FA Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
