Position Details: Job Title: Senior Project Buyer Salary Range: $100k - 110k/Annually Location: Minneapolis, MN 55422 (Hybrid) Duration: Fulltime role Position Overview RESPONSIBILITIES Purchase items and services at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements, and other factors Propose purchase transactions that higher authority approve prior to final action Arrange returns for unacceptable products to suppliers Track order status from the time of placing the order until delivery and communicate status to project teams Facilitate and run meetings internally and externally Enter purchase agreements and retain contact with suppliers to ensure delivery of material on a timely basis Enter purchase orders and retain contact with suppliers to ensure delivery of material on a timely basis Visit job sites or offices annually at a minimum to develop more effective working relationships Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, construction management, or related discipline or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience 4+ years of procurement experience and/or experience in a similar role Knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials, purchasing processes, and procurement procedures within renewable energy or utility-scale construction projects (preferred) Project Management experience (preferred) Understanding of the renewable energy construction industry, with wind energy experience strongly preferred Experience sourcing, purchasing, or developing procurement strategies for structural steel, fabricated steel, or other critical construction commodities (preferred) Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive results in a fast-paced project environment (preferred) Negotiating, organizing, planning, verbal, and communication skills Strong customer service and analytical skills Active listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback Software experience Current driver's license Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
