Our GreyMatter platform orchestrates robots, people, and systems in real time across some of the most complex fulfillment environments in the world. We are now expanding our Foundry platform — a simulation and layout design product that enables customers to model, design, and better understand warehouse automation systems before deployment. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the user experience and interface design for our design and simulation platform ( Foundry ). This is a highly technical product design role focused on translating multi-agent robotics configurations, spatial logistics data, and operational performance metrics into intuitive, world-class user experiences. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of designing complex B2B enterprise software, developer tools, or data-heavy spatial environments. You will work at the intersection of robotics execution, layout orchestration, data visualization, and interactive simulation to shape how warehouse environments are configured, tested, and validated. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical, 0→1 environments and enjoys turning highly complex engineering and operational concepts into elegant, scalable customer-facing design patterns. What You’ll Do Product UX/UI Design & System Strategy Own the end-to-end user experience and product design for the Foundry layout design tool and simulation replay suite. Evolve early product concepts, wireframes, and prototypes into high-fidelity, production-ready interactive designs. Establish intuitive workflows that allow users to visually define parametric layout attributes, configure system settings, and manage variable testing criteria. Operate with a high degree of ownership and design autonomy in a fast-paced, 0→1 software product environment. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Senior Product Managers and technical engineering leads to translate technical system behavior into user-friendly execution paths. Advocate for user-centric design principles while balancing technical performance constraints, system complexity, and business timelines. Required Qualifications 6+ years of UX/UI product design experience, specifically within data-dense B2B SaaS, developer utilities, industrial automation, CAD software, or adjacent technical software domains. A portfolio showcasing deep execution in technical product architecture, user flows, and intricate interface designs for highly complex systems. Proven experience designing canvas-based tools, spatial visualization engines, or rich data analytics dashboards. Figma skills and a deep understanding of managing and utilizing enterprise-scale design systems. Strong technical fluency - the ability to comfortably grasp complex algorithms, data structures, and spatial logic concepts to translate them visually. Demonstrated ability to lead a product area from early concept through mature production scale in ambiguous, rapid software environments. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to articulate design decisions to technical audiences.
