Senior Procurement Specialist - Warehouse Construction & Equipment
Starmerx International, INCWe are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to manage equipment, infrastructure, and construction service procurement for new warehouses across the United States, ensuring each facility is ready to open on schedule. Responsibilities: Manage procurement for new warehouse build-outs, including electrical and low-voltage systems, network and security systems, fire protection, racking, forklifts, dock equipment, and office facilities. Source and manage U.S.-based suppliers and contractors; request and compare quotations, negotiate pricing, and review commercial terms. Review project quotations and scopes of work to control costs and identify missing items or duplicate charges. Coordinate delivery, installation, and acceptance with operations and project teams to support timely warehouse openings. Track purchase orders, payments, and procurement documentation, and support facility upgrades and equipment purchases for existing warehouses as needed. Qualifications: Substantial experience in warehouse construction and equipment procurement, with a proven track record of independently managing procurement for new warehouse openings. Familiarity with procurement requirements for electrical and low-voltage systems, racking, forklifts, and other warehouse infrastructure and equipment. Experience sourcing U.S. suppliers and contractors and reviewing quotations, scopes of work, and commercial terms. Strong cost control, negotiation, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple warehouse projects simultaneously. Strong English and Chinese communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with U.S.-based suppliers and contractors. Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the United States and stay on-site as project needs require.
