Senior Procurement Implementation Lead
ConfidentialOne Aligned is seeking an experienced implementation leader to coordinate an enterprise resource planning (ERP) rollout and help modernize procurement operations. You will connect business and technology teams, keep delivery moving, and prepare departments to use and sustain the new system. You will provide dedicated project leadership, surface issues early, and turn cross-department dependencies into clear actions and decisions. What You Will Do Serve as the day-to-day implementation lead; maintain the integrated schedule, milestones, assignments, risks, issues, and decision log. Coordinate across multiple government departments, business stakeholders, and implementation partners; track required information, reviews, approvals, and cross-department dependencies. Partner with the IT department on integrations with existing systems, access, security, testing, and technical issue resolution; escalate decisions to authorized organizational leaders. Facilitate current-state assessment and procurement process redesign; translate approved improvements into implementation requirements. Coordinate vendor and contract data readiness with the analyst and process owners, including validation and approval before migration. Organize system and user acceptance testing, defect follow-up, readiness reviews, and acceptance activities. Lead stakeholder communication, training coordination, departmental readiness, go-live support, and post-launch issue prioritization. Develop procedures, support arrangements, and knowledge-transfer plans so staff can take over ongoing responsibilities. What You Bring 7 or more years of relevant experience in business system implementation, procurement modernization, project management, or related consulting work. Demonstrated experience leading a government business system implementation or comparable public-sector transformation. Working knowledge of procurement and finance processes and the relationship between workflows, data, controls, and enterprise systems. Ability to work effectively with technology teams on integrations, security, access, testing, and technical dependencies. Strong planning, facilitation, change management, executive communication, and issue-resolution skills. Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, information systems, or a related field; equivalent directly relevant experience may be considered where the contract permits. Preferred Qualifications ERP implementation experience, including integration with procurement, finance, or other enterprise systems. Government procurement experience and familiarity with public purchasing controls. PMP or comparable project management certification; change management or procurement certification. What Success Looks Like Assignments, decisions, and dependencies have clear owners and move on the approved schedule. Organizational leaders receive timely information on risks and decisions; testing, data readiness, and go-live approvals are documented. Staff adopt improved workflows and can sustain operations through clear procedures and practical training.
