This will include power, gas processing, mining, technology/semiconductor, heavy industry, new energy, and food industries. With limited direction, develops and applies advanced treatment and engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches to solve complex engineering problems for a wide range of water quality and treatment challenges. Develop and present technical evaluations and recommendations to clients and key stakeholders. Supervise junior engineers in performing design work. Perform all aspects of conventional process design engineering analysis. Build and maintain relationships with clients. Participate in writing proposals. Prepares a variety of moderately complex process engineering deliverables: PFDs, Water Balances, MSDs, P&IDs, Equipment Datasheets and Specifications. Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. Responsible for detailed design and procurement of water treatment systems, including construction and commissioning support. Manages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Plans and conducts independent evaluation, selection and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Reviews lower level engineering work or assignments.
