Brown Federal Services is seeking an experienced Senior Planning & Scheduling Expert to support our growing data center business. This position will initially work remotely as part of a proposal team pursuing data center contracts. The selected candidate will provide planning and scheduling expertise during the proposal and pursuit phase, helping develop schedules, execution strategies, sequencing plans, and other project controls deliverables. Upon contract award, the position will transition to on-site project support at the awarded location. Because project locations will depend on future contract awards, candidates must be willing to travel and work on-site as required. Key responsibilities include: Lead planning and scheduling efforts from proposal development through project execution. Develop, maintain, and analyze Level 3 and Level 4 project schedules. Develop and manage schedules using Primavera P6 and Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques. Coordinate schedule interfaces with contractors, subcontractors, project leadership, and key stakeholders. Lead look-ahead planning and schedule coordination meetings. Develop and update detailed construction, design, and procurement schedules. Implement and support Earned Value Management (EVM) for performance tracking and reporting. Monitor project progress, delays, variances, and schedule risks. Develop mitigation and recovery strategies, including Early Warning Notices and Time Impact Analysis (TIA). Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports highlighting progress, risks, and recovery plans. These responsibilities reflect the planning, scheduling, EVM, risk analysis, and reporting functions outlined in the original role description. Significant experience in project planning, scheduling, project controls, or a related discipline. Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6. Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling. Experience developing and managing Level 3 and Level 4 project schedules. Experience developing construction, design, and procurement schedules. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM). Strong understanding of schedule analysis, progress measurement, delay identification, and recovery planning. Knowledge of Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and schedule risk management. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a proposal team in a remote environment. Willingness and ability to transition to on-site project support following contract award. Ability to travel and work at project locations throughout the United States as required. Experience supporting data centers, mission-critical facilities, large-scale construction, industrial facilities, or complex capital projects is preferred.
