Role Description The Senior Parts Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Killarney, MB. This role is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts for John Deere golf and turf equipment, both at the counter and over the phone. Day-to-day tasks include assisting customers and service technicians with parts inquiries, using dealer management systems to look up and order parts, managing inventory levels, and processing sales and returns. The Senior Parts Advisor also helps organize stock, maintain accurate records, coordinate with suppliers, and support continuous improvements in parts department processes. This position works closely with the service team and management to ensure timely availability of parts and a positive customer experience. Qualifications Customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to support repeat and new business. Experience with Dealer Management systems and processes, preferably in an equipment, automotive, or agricultural dealership environment. Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, technicians, suppliers, and colleagues. Inventory Control skills, including stock organization, accurate record-keeping, and monitoring of parts levels. Previous experience in a parts advisor or similar role; experience with John Deere or turf/golf equipment is an asset. Comfort using computer-based catalogues, ordering systems, and standard office software. Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple requests, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Relevant technical or mechanical background, or equivalent on-the-job experience; formal training in parts or equipment management is an advantage.
