Senior Oracle EBS Q2C Functional Consultant

Location: Remote (US-Based Only) Position Type: Multi-Year Contract / Long-Term Opportunity Work Authorization: US Citizen (USC) or Green Card Holder (GC) Opportunity Type: Full Time on W2 with the Implementation Partner Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on, expert Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Q2C Functional Consultant to lead the optimization and enhancement of our global Quote-to-Cash operations. In this multi-year role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical developers to streamline order flows, resolve complex configuration challenges, and ensure seamless end-to-end process execution across our Oracle R12 environment. Key Responsibilities: Functional Ownership & Design: Lead the functional design, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle EBS R12 modules across the entire Quote-to-Cash value stream, focusing heavily on Order Management (OM), Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, and iReceivables. Requirements & Gap Analysis: Facilitate workshops with business process owners to gather requirements, analyze operational pain points, and map out optimal solution designs using standard Oracle functionality (minimizing costly customizations). System Configuration: Perform hands-on setup and configuration of Oracle EBS modules, including defining transaction types, processing constraints, pricing rules, credit checking, tax integrations, and sub-ledger accounting rules. Documentation & Specifications: Author detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs) for custom components, extensions, modifications, applications, and reports (CEMLI items) to hand off to development teams. Testing & UAT Coordination: Design comprehensive unit and integration test scenarios, author test scripts, support end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate data accuracy pre- and post-deployment. Production Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as the escalation point for complex Tier-2/3 production issues, investigating order holds, pricing discrepancies, interface failures, and billing/invoice errors. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between business operations and technical resources, collaborating seamlessly with supply chain, finance, and technical/DBA teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 8–10+ years of hands-on functional implementation, configuration, and support experience with Oracle EBS R12 (specifically versions 12.2+). Core Module Expertise: Deep, specialized mastery of Oracle EBS Order Management (OM) , Advanced Pricing , Shipping Execution , and Accounts Receivable (AR) . Integration Knowledge: Solid understanding of how Q2C modules integrate with Oracle Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), and General Ledger (GL), as well as external CRM/e-commerce platforms. Understanding of Integration with Oracle CPQ is preferred. Technical Literacy: Comfortable reviewing backend tables, understanding basic SQL/PL/SQL, tracking concurrent programs, and troubleshooting workflow errors to effectively communicate issues to technical developers. Communication & Advisory: Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of driving consensus, translating business needs into standard system functionality, and delivering user training.
