Senior Operations Manager

Job Overview As a Senior Operations Manager, you’ll lead supply chain and logistics operations across warehouse, distribution, transportation, and order fulfillment activities. You’ll guide teams, manage budgets and profit and loss (P&L), and use operational data to improve service, cost control, and inventory performance. This role brings together planning and execution across procurement, freight, fleet management, and warehouse distribution. Responsibilities Lead warehouse operations, distribution operations, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment; maintain effective inventory management and inventory control. Manage transportation planning, transportation management, fleet management, and freight activity, using transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS). Oversee budgeting, P&L, procurement, materials management, demand planning, and production planning; coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and non-vessel-operating common carriers (NVOCCs). Apply Lean methods, process improvement, process management, and continuous improvement to strengthen operational workflows and supply chain management. Your impact: By aligning warehouse and transportation plans with demand, you help teams deliver orders reliably and keep goods moving through the supply chain. Qualifications Required: Supervising experience, team management, managerial communication, and experience in operations management, logistics management, or distribution management. Required: Knowledge of warehouse management, warehouse operations, transportation planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations. Preferred: Warehouse supervisor experience and familiarity with ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems, TMS, WMS, and supply chain analytics. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to use operational information to guide decisions.
