Senior National Accounts Sales Operations & BI Analyst About the Role We are seeking a highly analytical professional to help grow our national retail flooring business, with a primary focus on The Home Depot. Working directly with executive leadership, you will turn sales, inventory, and operational data into recommendations that improve revenue, profitability, and inventory performance. Experience in an analytical role at The Home Depot—or supporting The Home Depot on the supplier side—is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities · Analyze sales, point-of-sale (POS), inventory, and sell-through data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and business risks. · Develop sales forecasts and inventory plans that improve product availability and reduce shortages and excess inventory. · Build executive dashboards and automate recurring reports using Excel and business intelligence tools. · Translate complex data into clear recommendations and presentations for leadership and retail account discussions. · Support product launches, Product Line Reviews, merchandising initiatives, and stock and special-order program rollouts. · Use AI and automation to streamline reporting, improve workflows, and increase productivity. · Coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to move projects forward. Qualifications · Three or more years of relevant experience in sales operations, business intelligence, retail analytics, financial analysis, or supply chain analytics. · Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, Power Query, complex formulas, and forecasting models. · Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable platform. · Ability to validate and analyze large datasets, identify meaningful trends, and explain what action the business should take. · Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot to improve analytical work and reporting. · Strong communication, organization, project management, and follow-through. · Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, supply chain, or a related field preferred. Preferred Experience · Direct experience working at The Home Depot in analytics, merchandising, inventory planning, finance, or a related function. · Alternatively, experience with a supplier supporting The Home Depot, including retailer reporting, POS analysis, forecasting, and account performance. · Familiarity with flooring, building products, or other national retail consumer products. Compensation and Benefits · Annual base salary above $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. · Additional commission opportunities. · Comprehensive benefits package, including a cafeteria benefits plan, medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401(k). · Business travel and approved business expenses covered.
