Senior Merchandise Stocker

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Merchandise Stocker to join our retail team. Responsibilities Efficiently stock shelves, produce sections, and storage areas using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts while adhering to safe lifting practices. Operate RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking and updating stock levels in the system. Manage inbound shipments by loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, and organizing products with precision. Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies and ensure stock accuracy across the store. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and sales floor to promote a safe shopping environment. Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and according to planograms. Support retail store operations through packaging, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service when needed. Communicate effectively with team members in multiple languages if applicable to enhance teamwork and customer interactions. Experience Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in inventory management systems and materials handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts. Prior retail store experience including stocking, merchandising, or grocery store work is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for inventory counts, retail math calculations, and sales transactions. Excellent communication skills—bilingual abilities are a plus—to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with manual handling safety practices. Experience operating warehouse operations equipment while maintaining safety standards is preferred.
