Senior Manufacturing Planning Operations Leader

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Planning Operations Leader to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This leader will oversee end-to-end manufacturing planning operations, ensuring material readiness, resource alignment, and execution discipline across a complex production environment. The role will partner closely with production, engineering, quality, finance, and supply chain teams to improve planning effectiveness and support broader operational goals. This position also plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, strengthening data governance, and providing senior-level insight to executive stakeholders. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $168,600 – $313,200 annually Responsibilities Drive end-to-end manufacturing planning excellence across the organization Own and execute manufacturing resource planning (MRP) activities, including buy planning and material master data Partner with production, engineering, quality, finance, and supply chain teams to align planning strategies Lead continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance affordability while maintaining performance Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team Provide senior-level insight and reporting to the PP&C Director and executive stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 8-12 years of progressive experience in manufacturing planning and operations management Minimum 3 years leading multi-disciplined teams Hands-on experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle Strong analytical skills and data governance knowledge Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Flexible work arrangements, such as 4x10 schedules 401(k) match Paid time off and holidays Parental leave and family care support Education assistance and life insurance options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
