Senior Manger, Clinical Study Services, Clinical Vendor Outsourcing

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manger, Clinical Study Services, Clinical Vendor Outsourcing to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee clinical vendor and site payment operations, ensuring invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliations are managed accurately and on time. The position will partner closely with internal stakeholders to establish payment arrangements for clinical trials and provide subject matter expertise on clinical payments. It also supports spend tracking, reporting, and process improvements that help drive efficiency and strong financial control across clinical development activities. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $189,000 annually Responsibilities Oversee all payment and invoice activities for vendor and clinical site contracts Act as a subject matter expert for clinical payments to business partners Coordinate with internal teams to establish payment arrangements for clinical trials Manage accurate and timely payments for CRO, vendor, and site contracts Conduct payment reconciliations and manage purchase orders Track actual spend vs budget and report to finance Identify process improvements to enhance productivity Qualifications BS degree or equivalent experience required 10+ years of clinical/vendor payment experience in pharma or biotech 6+ years managing vendor and contract payments for clinical trials Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel Ability to work independently with minimal direction Experience in oncology drug development preferred Benefits Robust equity awards and competitive cash compensation Strong benefits package including health and wellness programs Significant learning and development opportunities Flexible work arrangements, including remote options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
