The Senior Manager, Supply Planning owns the production plan and co-manufacturer relationship for an assigned regional portfolio. This role translates demand, inventory, material availability, and capacity requirements into executable production schedules, drives timely delivery of finished goods, and leads production planning decisions, risk resolution and escalations across the Planning team. This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays. Key Responsibilities Own the day-to-day relationship with assigned co-manufacturers, including production schedules, capacity, priorities, constraints, and delivery commitments. Develop and communicate short- and mid-range production plans based on demand, inventory needs, material availability, launch timing, and manufacturing capacity. Work with co-manufacturers to confirm capacity, secure production time, identify bottlenecks, and establish recovery plans when schedules are at risk. Place and track purchase orders, transfer orders, and allocation order postings for the assigned region, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the production plan. Monitor open orders from release through completion, including component readiness, work in process, finished goods availability, and shipment timing. Track and report production achievement and schedule adherence; analyze misses and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and comanufacturers. Lead regular production reviews with co-manufacturers to address priorities, overdue orders, schedule changes, capacity constraints, and required actions. Escalate production delays, missed commitments, material shortages, quality holds, and capacity issues with clear business impact and recommended next steps. Partner with Material Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory, Quality, Packaging, Logistics, and Commercial teams to support product availability and launch objectives. Support new product launches, restages, transitions, and discontinuations by incorporating material readiness, approvals, and timing into the production plan. Maintain accurate production dates and planning data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP. Prepare concise leadership updates on production status, major risks, vendor performance, recovery actions, and decisions required. Perform additional duties as assigned or required. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field. 5+ years of production planning or similar supply chain experience. Hands-on experience working with co-manufacturers on production planning, capacity management, order execution, and issue resolution. Experience supporting product launches in fragrance, beauty or consumer goods. Required Skills Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, order management, inventory flow, and contract manufacturing operations. Ability to interpret demand, inventory, material, and production data and convert it into clear priorities and executable plans. Strong vendor-management skills with the ability to set expectations, challenge commitments constructively, and drive follow-through. Proficiency with planning systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools; advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess tradeoffs and recommend practical solutions.
