Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager – MRO, HSE, Facilities & Energy Industry: Advanced Materials / Specialty Chemicals / Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-time About the Role A global advanced materials and specialty chemicals organisation is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategies across MRO, HSE, Facilities Management, Energy and Industrial Gases . The role owns category strategy, supplier relationships and contract management, with a focus on cost optimisation, supply continuity, risk management, compliance and supplier performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies across assigned categories. Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, contracts and performance. Deliver cost savings, productivity improvements and working-capital optimisation. Ensure continuity of supply while managing commercial and operational risk. Establish category strategies aligned with business and operational requirements. Partner with Operations, R&D, Quality, EHS, Legal and Finance. Ensure sourcing activities meet quality, regulatory, ESG and safety requirements. Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, competitiveness and value. Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to procurement professionals supporting assigned categories. Requirements Significant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or supply chain within a complex industrial environment. Strong category management experience across MRO, facilities, HSE, energy and/or industrial gases. Proven supplier negotiation, contract management and relationship-management skills. Track record of delivering cost savings, productivity improvements and supply continuity. Strong understanding of procurement risk, compliance and supplier performance management. Ability to work effectively with technical, operational, financial and legal stakeholders. Strong analytical, commercial and strategic-thinking skills. Proven leadership and ability to coach and influence procurement teams. Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
