The Role DedCool ships across DTC, wholesale, and retail channels through a network of 3PL and carrier partners. This role owns the day-to-day execution of that logistics network — keeping shipments moving, catching issues before they become retailer chargebacks, and giving Operations leadership clear visibility into freight cost and service performance. You'll be the primary point of contact for our 3PL (Stord) and freight carrier partners on execution issues, and the person who turns scattered shipment problems into a tracked, resolved, and visible process. Responsibilities and Duties Own inbound freight scheduling end to end — hold domestic and international component suppliers and CMs to their committed ship dates, coordinate with Mainfreight and other freight forwarders to schedule pickup and delivery to the correct CM, then schedule finished goods from the CM to Stord and process the internal shipment in Fulfil per the production workflow Own receipt monitoring and accuracy — track every delivery against Stord's 48-hour receiving window, confirm receipts flow into Fulfil error-free daily, and flag shorts, overages, and late receipts same-day, covering both internal shipments from MOs and supplier shipments from POs Run the weekly supplier ship-date cadence and keep the Master Tracker current — confirm committed ship dates across all open component and finished-goods POs, maintain requested ship / actual ship / at-Stord / received dates, and escalate slipping dates before they move a receipt week Manage international shipments and customs documentation — commercial invoices, HTS classification, incoterms, duty and tariff exposure, and broker/forwarder coordination on inbound ocean and air freight Resolve receipt and inventory discrepancies to close — reconcile Stord and CM receiving reports against Fulfil, drive shorts, overages, and damage to resolution with the partner, and correct positions in Fulfil with a proper audit trail Audit freight invoices — check Mainfreight, Unishippers, and forwarder invoices against quoted rates and accessorials, dispute variances, and track landed freight cost by shipment in the Master Tracker Own outbound shipment tracking and exception handling with the 3PL network (Stord and other partners) Manage carrier relationships; flag rate creep or service failures, and identify cost-saving opportunities with carrier account managers — volume discounting, freight consolidation, optimized freight method selection, and alternative carrier bidding Monitor logistics KPIs — OTIF, freight cost per unit, order accuracy, and damage/claims rate — and escalate root causes to the Director of Operations Coordinate chargeback disputes and retailer compliance issues with 3PLs and carriers — working issues through to resolution via the 3PL's support channels (Slack, email, ticketing) Maintain and triage the team's open issues tracker for 3PL/carrier service problems, keeping status visible across the team Support inventory accuracy through periodic cycle count reconciliation between Stord and Fulfil Qualifications and Skills 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL/carrier operations, ideally in CPG or DTC/wholesale consumer goods Experience working directly with a 3PL (e.g., Stord or similar) and freight carriers Comfortable owning KPI tracking …
