Responsible for total Purchasing Volume (PVO) of an assigned (Sub) Commodity (with the focus on Pooling). Manages designated IT Commodities for both internal & external uses cross-business and fosters cross-functional alignment and be accountable for meeting commodity cost savings targets. Defines Commodity structure, organization and strategy in alignment with the management; communicates the commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials/services and get the buy-in from stakeholders in executing the commodity strategies. Develops and implements material productivity measures to achieve the maximum contribution to the cost savings targets. Runs Strategic Sourcing process and conducts negotiations to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, targeted activities. Identifies particular procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage/ exploit potential opportunities through risk and change management. Performs Supplier Management, in particular Supplier Development to obtain the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain. IT category domain knowledge incl. IT Hardware &Software, IT Consulting Services and IT Communication Services Familiarity with complicated and muti-layered IT systems Working experiences with muti-national companies that foster collaborations via wide procurement network Strategic sourcing process and vendor management Relationship management and cross-functional approach Contracting and the advanced cost negotiation methodologies and tools Supplier management and development 10-15 years Procurement experiences with 10+ years of IT category (incl. IT Hardware &Software, IT Services & IT Communications) management experiences. Proven track record of building strong stakeholder relationships and supplier relationships Aptitude for handling multi-dimensional, complex processes and/or projects Leadership skills managing muti-functional teams Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills: be able to understand and communicate complex topics with simplicity, partnering with vendors and across organizational boundaries. The base pay range for this position is: $141,340 - $194,337 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
