Lead the build of safe, reliable industrial power systems D-Riven Engineered Solutions is hiring a certified Master Electrician to take point on complex industrial electrical projects—installations, modifications, relocations, and removals—executed to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and aligned with both D-Riven and customer expectations. Compensation: Starting at $40.00 per hour + overtime A day in the life You begin by syncing with electrical and project engineers and the site superintendent, translating plans into a clear task list for your crew. You verify Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO), gather materials from stock and suppliers, and lead journeymen and apprentices through safe teardown and precise rebuilds. By midday, Unistrut frames and cable tray are fitted, EMT is bent to spec, rigid is threaded, and wire pulls are underway—some by hand, others mechanically assisted. Before the shift closes, you label control and power conductors, complete terminations, mount panels and disconnects, and coach apprentices—signing hours and reviewing workmanship to maintain exacting quality. Core responsibilities Turn engineer and superintendent direction into actionable plans; develop task lists and guide journeymen/apprentice teams to completion. Conduct and verify LOTO of all electrical sources prior to starting work. Lead disassembly of power distribution equipment; replace worn/failed components; reassemble and verify proper operation. Create project-level material takeoffs and coordinate with purchasing; gather tools/supplies from internal stock and external vendors. Measure, cut, and bend EMT; thread rigid conduit to specification. Field-fit and install Unistrut frames/hangers, cable tray, and conduit piping. Perform manual and mechanically assisted wire pulls and terminations. Trace and label power distribution and control wiring before equipment removal. Install and mount electrical equipment: panels, disconnects, junction boxes, motors. Mentor journeymen, sign apprentices’ hours, and uphold overall crew quality. Maintain tools/equipment; keep parts and supplies organized. Support additional routine jobsite activities as directed by site management. Determination, problem-solving, and critical thinking—leading projects by example. Mastery of electrical theory and the math behind it. Fluency with applicable codes and accepted best practices. Flexibility to work nights/weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as needed. Education & experience High school diploma or GED. Electrical trade school graduate and current Master Electrician license. Deep knowledge of electrical theory, three-phase power, and industrial wiring methods. Hands-on experience operating aerial lifts, forklifts, and other powered equipment. 15 years in the electrical trade, including at least 10 years in industrial environments. Proficiencies Conduit bending, including pipe up to 4 inches. Use of pipe benders and related tooling. Applied electrical theory in industrial applications.
