Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. 5 years of experience in category or commodity management, contract negotiation and supplier development. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technical or engineering field or MBA. Experience working with general contractors, integrators and suppliers in a large infrastructure environment Demonstrated experience with industrial engineering and construction programs, preferably data centers. Direct experience managing Data Center Infrastructure. Demonstrated strong leadership and influencing skills. About The Job Commodity Managers work with Engineering teams to make sure Google has the supplies and equipment to put into production the innovative products coming from our Engineering teams. As a Commodity Manager, you use your wide industry knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to optimize our total cost of ownership for our global -- and growing -- infrastructure.
