In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of time critical, temperature control and pharma cargo. You will serve as a key resource for operations and process excellence. You will drive operational efficiency in gateway operations, maintain compliance with company standards, and support the achievement of business objectives through consistent execution and collaboration. In this role, you will engage with peers on-site three days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. With the flexibility for remote work two days a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy. The work schedule for this role is 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific time on Mondays and Fridays and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday through Thursday, based on the candidate location. This role also requires flexibility to work every other Saturday, depending on business needs. Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Manage the international air shipment lifecycle, from purchase order issuance through final cargo delivery Prepare, process, and assemble documentation for time-critical, temperature-controlled, and pharmaceutical air shipments Ensure shipment documentation is accurate, complete, and released to carriers, customers, and agents on time Execute and coordinate shipments in accordance with customer requirements, standard operating procedures, and industry regulations Create, maintain, and update shipments in Navisphere, ensuring accurate data and a high level of shipment integrity Apply industry expertise and critical thinking to resolve complex shipment challenges and minimize service disruptions Serve as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for internal teams, global offices, agents, and external vendors Provide guidance on time-critical, temperature-controlled, and pharmaceutical shipment requirements, processes, and initiatives Build collaborative relationships across the department, branch, and global network to support seamless shipment execution Identify and recommend process and technology improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen service, and improve financial performance Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of Global Forwarding industry experience Provide evening and weekend coverage when required to support client and business operations Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business Strong prioritization, multi-tasking skills, and high level of flexibility as priorities and needs change daily Critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs High level of attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment Proactive, ambitious, hardworking, and analytical mindset We will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.
