About Synergy Infratech Power Systems (SIPS) Synergy Infratech Power Systems (SIPS) is expanding its Dallas-area operations serving the power generation, generator enclosure, data center infrastructure, and engineered industrial systems markets. We design and manufacture generator enclosures, electrical houses (e-houses), genset packaging, circuit breakers, and SCR exhaust systems. Our new Wilmer, Texas facility is a startup manufacturing plant ramping up to serve some of the fastest-growing critical-infrastructure projects in the country, backed by an international group with operations in India and the UAE. Position Summary We seek a hands-on Finance Manager to build dependable financial controls, deliver timely reporting, and support profitable manufacturing growth. The Finance Manager is the senior finance leader for the Wilmer plant and reports directly to the CEO. This is a build-it role: you will establish the cost accounting system, standard costs, inventory controls, and management reporting for a new facility; serve as the financial partner to the Plant Manager, Operations, and Sales on project profitability and capacity decisions; and own the month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management for the U.S. operation. The ideal candidate has led plant finance in a custom-engineered or project-based manufacturing environment, understands percentage-of-completion and job costing, and is comfortable operating without a large corporate finance organization behind them. Key Responsibilities Cost Accounting & Standard Costs. Lead manufacturing and project cost accounting for an engineer-to-order environment: materials, direct labor, overhead rates and absorption, work in process, inventory valuation, standard costs, and job-cost variance analysis (material, labor, overhead, scrap, rework). Drive accurate job and project costing from quote through closeout. Project Margin & Profitability. Monitor project-level gross margins, estimate-to-actual costs, change orders, and profitability by product line and customer; flag margin erosion early and partner with Sales and Project Management on recovery. Month-End Close & Financial Reporting. Own the monthly close, general ledger accuracy, financial statements, budget-to-actual reporting, and management dashboards for the Wilmer plant and U.S. entity; oversee reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, payroll accounting coordination, and financial recordkeeping; coordinate with group finance in India and the UAE on consolidation and intercompany transactions. Inventory, WIP & Fixed Assets. Establish controls over raw material, WIP, and finished-goods inventory; lead cycle counts and physical inventories; manage inventory valuation, reserves, and E&O analysis. Track capital projects and fixed assets through the plant startup. Project Accounting & Revenue Recognition. Apply percentage-of-completion / milestone billing and revenue recognition (ASC 606) to long-lead data center and power generation projects; partner with Sales and Project Management on backlog, billing schedules, retainage, and commission calculations tied to revenue recognition. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Management. Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, capital expenditure analysis, and financial KPIs in partnership with operations; prepare 13-week cash forecasts; manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, vendor payments, customer deposits, and working capital reporting through the ramp-up. Operational Finance & Business Partnership. Deliver plant KPIs — gross margin by project and product line, labor efficiency, overhead absorption, throughput, scrap, and on-time delivery — and partner with the Plant Manager, Manufacturing Program Manager, procurement, engineering, and executive leadership on cost and operational decisions.
