Long-Haul Cross-Border Senior Dispatcher/Operations Coordinator (Canada–U.S.)

Our client is a well-established trucking company looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented dispatcher/operations coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced operation and can manage—and grow—a long-haul fleet independently.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Dispatching and managing a long-haul fleet (currently 10 trucks (Peterbuilt) / 20 trailers)
• Handling local city dispatch as required
• Planning outbound loads and negotiating backhaul rates
• Ensuring compliance with Canadian & U.S. HOS regulations
• Managing cross-border documentation (ACI, ACE)
• Monitoring driver performance, hours, and compliance
• Communicating clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Monday to Friday – 2 weekends per month on call

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of cross-border long-haul dispatch experience
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Canadian & U.S. HOS regulations
  • ACI / ACE cross-border requirements
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of fleet performance
• High attention to detail (non-negotiable)
• Computer savvy

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Axon TMS
• Familiarity with Samsara ELD (or similar ELD systems)
