Our client is a global energy technology client located in Katy, TX is actively interviewing for a Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead the company's end-to-end supply chain organization, including procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, purchasing, warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management. This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that support growth, improve operational efficiency, optimize costs, and strengthen supplier performance. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the end-to-end supply chain , including procurement, category management, purchasing, warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management. Develop and implement short- and long-term supply chain strategies to support company growth and operational objectives. Build, develop, train, and lead high-performing supply chain teams. Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies across multiple product and service categories. Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve optimal pricing, quality, service, and reliability. Provide strategic oversight of procurement activities and supplier performance. Optimize inventory management and warehouse operations to improve availability, accuracy, efficiency, and cost. Develop and implement policies, procedures, controls, and best practices across the supply chain organization. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment across the organization. Utilize supply chain and inventory management systems, tools, and processes to improve visibility and decision-making. Work closely with the COO and other executive leaders to align supply chain initiatives with company goals and growth strategies. Travel to field locations, company facilities, supplier/vendor facilities, and customer sites as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with significant experience across procurement, category management, and warehouse operations. Energy industry experience required, with a strong preference for candidates from an energy manufacturing or equipment environment. Proven experience leading an end-to-end supply chain function. Strong background in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics. Demonstrated success developing and implementing departmental strategies, policies, procedures, and process improvements. Strong supplier relationship management and contract negotiation experience. Experience developing sourcing strategies focused on pricing, quality, availability, and supplier reliability. Hands-on experience with supply chain and inventory management systems, tools, and processes. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers. Willingness to travel approximately 20–25% .
