Senior Director of Sales

Job Overview AWL Transport dba TLX is rapidly expanding its brokerage operations, and the Senior Director of Sales plays a pivotal role in driving that growth. This high-impact, client-facing position is ideal for a driven sales professional looking to develop a book of business with substantial earnings potential and autonomy. You will enter on the ground floor with the chance to play a key role in building our quickly expanding Brokerage offering. There will be no geographical, vertical, or other restrictions limiting your opportunity for success. This is an individual contributor geared to a true hunter. The position is base pay w/ commission. Key Responsibilities: · Drive new account growth via prospecting, sourcing, and account development Develop relationships with companies that ship goods throughout the United States and Canada Facilitate transition to the AWL Account Management team Maintain consistent communication with the customer base to foster company growth and build lasting relationships Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience · Travel as needed to meet with prospects and customers. · Other duties as assigned Experience Proven track record of developing new business and growing truckload accounts · 7+ years of experience at a 3PL, at least 3 in a sales (hunter) role Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) Self-motivated, ability to manage own time, organizational skills Preferred Skills: Proficient in Microsoft applications Strong Interpersonal skills, ability to rapidly develop and cultivate relationships with peers, partners and key influencers Existing book of business in flatbed and/or dry van freight preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Location: · Remote role Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: Remote
