This Opportunity Komline is seeking a Senior D365 Manufacturing and Supply Chain Implementation Lead to lead operational process design and configuration for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management deployments across our manufacturing sites. This role will help businesses adopt consistent purchasing, inventory, warehousing, sales order, and production processes, with a particular emphasis on production planning. Working across smaller operations and more complex equipment manufacturing businesses, this individual will combine hands-on configuration with process design, testing, training, and deployment support. The role will partner with the ERP Platform Manager, D365 program leadership, functional specialists, data engineer, and site subject matter experts as part of an internal implementation team targeting five to six deployments annually, including concurrent projects and acquisition integrations. The initial focus will be implementations and post-go-live stabilization. D365 program leadership will coordinate delivery plans, while the ERP Platform Manager will own platform priorities and governance. An external service provider will manage ongoing production support and selected technical operations, and the data engineer will lead migration execution. Responsibilities may expand to platform improvements and ongoing support as the deployment portfolio evolves. Responsibilities Lead operational discovery and fit-gap workshops with purchasing, sales operations, warehouse, engineering, and manufacturing teams. Apply Komline’s common deployment template and document justified exceptions Configure procurement, sales order processing, inventory, sites, warehouses, and warehouse processes to support each location’s operating needs Own production planning configuration and adoption, including coverage settings, lead times, calendars, resource capacity, planned orders, and scheduling parameters Configure and validate production orders, bills of materials (BOMs), routes, resources, material consumption, labor reporting, and production completion processes Work with planners to test demand and supply scenarios, shortages, capacity constraints, and delivery-date implications using representative site data Define functional migration mappings and validation rules for items, vendors, inventory, BOMs, routes, and open operational transactions in collaboration with site owners and the data engineer Partner with the Project Accounting and Manufacturing Costing Lead to validate material, labor, and overhead capture and the relationship between production orders and project costs Lead end-to-end operational testing, resolve defects, and obtain business acceptance of purchasing, receiving, manufacturing, inventory, and shipping scenarios Develop practical work instructions and train planners, buyers, production personnel, and warehouse super-users. Confirm readiness through observed process execution Plan operational cutover activities, validate and reconcile inventory, production, and open orders, support post-go-live stabilization, and transfer configuration documentation and procedures to the support provider Ensure planners can interpret and act on system …
