Senior Commercial Pricing Analyst
MedbioMedbio is looking for a Senior Commercial Pricing Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working cross-functionally, digging into the details behind pricing and profitability, and turning financial data into actionable business recommendations. This role will partner closely with Finance, Technical Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Tooling, and Customer Service to support quoting, pricing decisions, customer profitability, forecasting, and margin improvement. What You’ll Do Pricing, Quoting & Margin Analysis Review new and existing business quote packages to evaluate profitability, margin impact, and alignment with business targets. Perform detailed margin and profitability analysis and identify financial risks or inconsistencies before customer submission. Evaluate quote assumptions including material, labor, overhead, scrap, tooling, freight, capital, volume, and program timing. Identify margin gaps, cost inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve profitability. Compare quoted assumptions to actual performance and recommend improvements to future quoting assumptions. Support commercial forecasting through analysis of quoted business, awarded business, pricing assumptions, and program launch expectations. Commercial Decision Support Analyze pricing scenarios and provide recommendations based on cost structures, target margins, customer dynamics, and business objectives. Support pricing decisions for new business, existing business, cost changes, and margin-improvement opportunities. Help strengthen pricing discipline and financial review throughout the quoting process. Translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders. Identify opportunities for cost recovery and margin improvement. Cost & Profitability Analysis Partner with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Tooling to understand manufacturing cost drivers and assumptions. Analyze the financial impact of material, labor, overhead, freight, tooling, and other operational cost changes. Improve visibility into customer, product, and program-level profitability. Support customer and product profitability analysis and identify trends requiring commercial action. Help ensure pricing decisions support Medbio's long-term profitability objectives. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. 3–5+ years of experience in commercial finance, pricing, financial analysis, manufacturing finance, FP&A, cost analysis, or a related field. Experience with pricing, quoting, product costing, margin analysis, or customer profitability strongly preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, lookup functions, scenario analysis, and working with large data sets. Strong understanding of financial and profitability concepts. Experience working with manufacturing cost structures, including labor, overhead, materials, tooling, and freight preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations. Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
