Senior Category Manager - High Voltage - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Category Manager - High Voltage - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead category management and strategic sourcing efforts for high-voltage equipment across complex construction environments. The Senior Category Manager will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve procurement execution, strengthen supplier relationships, and deliver cost-effective purchasing outcomes. This position also plays a key leadership role in analyzing vendor performance, negotiating favorable terms, and mentoring procurement team members. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies for high-voltage equipment Form and oversee cross-functional teams to improve procurement processes Analyze vendor landscapes and spend data to identify financial opportunities Develop sourcing plans and negotiation strategies to secure favorable vendor terms Maintain national and regional contracts to ensure optimal value for the organization Foster strategic supplier relationships focused on long-term value creation Mentor Procurement Agents and Category Managers to strengthen team capabilities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 12 years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement, with a focus on complex equipment in electrical construction or heavy industrial sectors At least 5 years of experience leading teams or large-scale procurement initiatives Demonstrated expertise in managing high-voltage equipment categories and understanding relevant technical specifications CPSM or a similar procurement certification preferred Benefits ESOP 401(k) Annual bonus program based on performance 17 PTO days plus 10 paid holidays 3 days of paid sick leave 3 days of paid bereavement leave 3 days of paid jury duty leave Medical, dental, and vision insurance Bonding leave Term life, AD&D, and voluntary life insurance Disability income protection insurance Pre-tax flexible spending plans Charitable giving match with the company foundation Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
