ors, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable, and user-friendly technology solutions.
You will play an important role in expanding the functionality and usability of DSSI's core applications, including both front-end user experience improvements and back-end application functionality. This position also provides an opportunity to work with a diverse technology environment that includes .NET, SQL Server, IBM i/AS400, DB2, web services, XML/JSON, and e-procurement integrations.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications supporting DSSI's Source-to-Pay business processes.
• Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Work closely with business process teams, project coordinators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop new functionality and enhancements to existing applications, including both user interface and back-end capabilities.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications and production issues.
• Develop and maintain applications and services deployed on web servers.
• Design and implement software using established object-oriented programming and enterprise application development practices.
• Develop and maintain integrations using RESTful Web Services, Web API, XML, JSON, and related technologies.
• Work with relational databases, including SQL Server, and integrate applications with existing IBM i/AS400 and DB2 systems.
• Participate in application architecture, system integration, database design, and technical solution development.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and development initiatives, ensuring quality deliverables and on-time completion.
• Create and maintain appropriate technical documentation, including application documentation, help text, testing requirements and results, programmer comments, and object descriptions.
• Develop and execute unit and integration testing and support User Acceptance Testing as required.
• Support user training and assist business users with the adoption of new and enhanced functionality.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, maintainability, and usability.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established IT development standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, development practices, and industry trends relevant to the organization's technology environment.
• Collaborate with other developers and IT team members and provide technical guidance and mentoring to less-experienced developers.
• Support the organization's goals for business development, service delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement through effective use of technology.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Comply with company policies, IT procedures, programming standards, and project/task management requirements.
• Support and maintain the Company's Quality Management System and applicable quality standards.

Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Processing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
