Total rewards:$30.00 - $33.00 hourlyStable full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, 7 hours per dayContract until the end of 2026 with potential for extension based on business needsWork model: Fully on siteCollaborative and professional work environmentA typical day:Manage end-to-end procurement activities for laboratory, research, and specialized categoriesLead competitive sourcing initiatives including RFQs, RFPs, and supplier evaluationsDevelop procurement strategies that balance value, quality, risk, and operational requirementsCollaborate with technical stakeholders to develop specifications and procurement documentationAnalyze supplier proposals using commercial, technical, and total cost of ownership criteriaNegotiate pricing, service levels, warranties, and contractual terms with suppliersEnsure compliance with organizational procurement policies and applicable trade agreementsMonitor supplier performance and support ongoing contract administration and vendor managementSuccessful candidates will have:Minimum 3 years of procurement or senior buyer experienceExperience managing laboratory, scientific, technical, medical equipment, or specialized procurement categoriesStrong knowledge of formal sourcing processes including RFQs, RFPs, and tendering activitiesExperience negotiating supplier contracts, pricing structures, delivery schedules, and service agreementsUnderstanding of public-sector procurement principles and compliance requirementsAdvanced analytical skills with experience evaluating total cost of ownership and supplier riskProficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Word and ExcelExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThis posting is for an active opening.
