About the role ASK Power is hiring a Senior Buyer to source, qualify and manage suppliers for production materials, components, services and capital equipment. You will help develop U.S. suppliers for new projects and current operations while balancing cost, quality, delivery and supply risk. The position works closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Sicame Group Purchasing. What you will do Identify and qualify suppliers, reviewing capacity, quality systems, financial stability and required documentation. Develop specifications and RFQs with internal teams; analyze proposals and recommend supplier awards. Negotiate pricing, lead times, capacity, quality, payment terms and purchasing agreements. Purchase direct materials, components, services and capital equipment within approved budgets. Track supplier delivery and quality performance; coordinate corrective actions when needed. Monitor material indexes and market trends to support cost decisions and supply continuity. Maintain accurate supplier, pricing and purchasing information in the ERP system. Support sourcing that meets applicable Build America, Buy America requirements. Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. At least five years of progressive purchasing, strategic sourcing or procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience sourcing and qualifying suppliers, managing RFQs and negotiating commercial terms. Experience using ERP purchasing systems and advanced Microsoft Excel. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams and to travel as described above. Preferred qualifications Experience with domestic content sourcing or BABA; metals, fabricated components or galvanizing; automotive, utility or electrical products; or procurement within an international organization. APICS or ISM certification, a relevant master’s degree, and English/French or English/Spanish bilingual ability are pluses.
