Senior Buyer

BUYERS / PROCUREMENT PROFESSIONALS | Space Coast FLORIDA We're looking to connect with experienced Aerospace Buyers who have strong supplier management and procurement experience. This is not a traditional buyer role focused primarily on negotiation. The biggest part of the job is supplier follow-up, escalation, and getting overdue POs and deliveries back on track. You’ll be responsible for: Managing overdue purchase orders and supplier backlogs Driving suppliers toward on-time delivery Following up on PO acknowledgements, delivery dates, quantities, and pricing Identifying recurring supplier issues and driving corrective action Tracking metrics such as OTD, overdue POs, PO acknowledgement, and cycle time Managing procurement from requisition through invoice resolution Supporting sourcing, price analysis, negotiations, and supplier selection Working closely with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues quickly Identifying cost savings and process improvements Reporting supplier and procurement performance to leadership What we're looking for: 4-5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience Strong supplier management and follow-up skills Experience managing overdue POs and delivery issues Ability to work with multiple internal teams and senior stakeholders Strong analytical and communication skills Experience tracking procurement or supplier performance metrics Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field Aerospace, technical industry, or government contracting experience is a plus Familiarity with FAR/DFAR is a plus If your background is in supplier management, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain and you're comfortable staying on top of suppliers and pushing issues to resolution, I'd be interested in connecting.
