We're a growing import and export operation with a small, close-knit team, and we're looking for a Senior Bookkeeper who can take ownership of our books and keep our finances organized as we scale. The Role As our Senior Bookkeeper, you'll manage the full-cycle bookkeeping function, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, payroll support, and financial reporting. This is a hybrid role in Saskatoon—mostly remote, with occasional in-office collaboration. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping: AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and journal entries Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports Handle multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange tracking (import/export) Process payroll and maintain related records Prepare GST/PST filings and support year-end preparation with external accountants Maintain accurate records in accounting software; improve processes as we grow What You Bring 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, including full-cycle responsibility Diploma or certificate in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Experience with multi-currency transactions is a strong asset Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment Clear communication skills in English (additional languages an asset) Why Join Us?
