$17.55 - $19.00 per hour Senior Associate, Shop Technician POSITION PROFILE Entry-level position. Individuals typically work under close supervision in a production shop, setting up copiers and other equipment for delivery to end-user customers while following company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Job Duties and Responsibilities Sets-up and preps all assigned equipment and performs operational checks, making all necessary adjustments utilizing the Supply Chain Install/Return Checklist. Achieves productivity and quality standards. Analyzes and troubleshoots equipment failures to determine necessary corrective action and makes repairs as required. Maintains a clean and organized workspace. Responsible for tools and other company assets assigned. Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Completes training courses assigned by Shop management. Responsible for closing job in WMS - tracking hours to manage productivity. Adheres to all facility security and safety rules. Follows all company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications) Typically requires: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Mechanical/electronics trade school is a plus. Requires basic technical knowledge (mechanical, electronics, and basic computer skills) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, And Abilities Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment. Good organizational skills. Working Conditions, MENTAL aND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Typically, a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level. · Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data and instruction · prepare, provide and convey diversified information. Exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners. Physical effort is required in the lifting of tool cases, and assorted equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as the ability to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds. Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level. May be required to work overtime or outside the normal working hours when the need arises.
