The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of U.S. freight forwarding experience, with strong air freight knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Benefits Up to $75,000 salary, based on experience Competitive benefits package Paid time off and company holidays 401(k) / retirement plan Long-term career growth opportunities Key Responsibilities Coordinate international air freight shipments from A–Z, ensuring timely and accurate execution. Manage export and import shipments, including booking, documentation, tracking, and delivery coordination. Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, air waybills, and other shipping documentation. Coordinate with airlines, truckers, overseas agents, customs brokers, and customers. Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, and operational issues. Ensure shipments comply with U.S. and international regulations and company procedures. Maintain accurate shipment records and update customers throughout the transportation process. Communicate with overseas offices and international partners to ensure smooth shipment movement. Assist with quotations, rate requests, and other operational requirements as needed. Provide a high level of customer service while maintaining strong operational control. Requirements 7+ years of U.S. freight forwarding experience required. Strong international air freight experience. Solid understanding of air export and/or import procedures. Experience handling shipments from booking through final delivery. Knowledge of international shipping documentation and compliance requirements. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously. Experience with freight forwarding software such as CargoWise is preferred.
