At Airspeed, we're looking for a sharp, analytical Senior Accountant who can do more than balance the books. We want someone who understands the numbers behind manufacturing, enjoys digging into the details, and knows how to turn financial data into smart business decisions. If you're equally comfortable with general accounting and manufacturing costs, this could be your next move. What You'll Do Own the numbers. Handle general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Know what things cost. Analyze inventory, production costs, labor, materials, overhead, and manufacturing variances. Connect the dots. Turn financial data into meaningful insights that help improve efficiency and profitability. Partner with the business. Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Finance to understand what's happening on the plant floor. Make things better. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting. What's in It for You? Real ownership. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage your responsibilities independently. Meaningful impact. Your analysis will help drive decisions that directly affect our manufacturing operations. More than spreadsheets. You'll get to see how products are made and understand the business behind the numbers. Room to contribute. We value fresh ideas, practical solutions, and people who challenge the status quo. What We're Looking For 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong general ledger, financial close, and reconciliation experience. Knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and GAAP. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred. CPA or CMA certification (or progress toward one) is a plus. Ready to Put Your Skills to Work? We're not looking for someone who just reports the numbers. We're looking for someone who understands what they mean and helps us use them to get better. If that sounds like you, apply today and help Airspeed turn good numbers into great decisions.
