Semi-Truck Mechanic Location: New Jersey Pay: $30/hour Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Semi-Truck Mechanic to join our team. We specialize in mechanical repair for commercial trucks. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with heavy-duty diesel vehicles and takes pride in accurate, reliable work. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and heavy-duty vehicles Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, and inspections Inspect engines, transmissions, brake systems, and electrical components Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs and identify additional issues Keep accurate service and repair records Communicate job status and recommendations to customers/management Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all shop safety procedures and protocols Qualifications Valid mechanic certification (ASE or equivalent) — required Proven experience repairing/maintaining semi-trucks or heavy-duty diesel vehicles Strong knowledge of engine, brake, transmission, and electrical systems Own basic hand tools Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values your expertise in heavy equipment repair!
