Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Semi Truck Driver (CDL) and take charge of transporting freight across various routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers and specialized trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will keep our logistics moving smoothly. We’re looking for motivated drivers who thrive on over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhere strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, and excel in managing hazardous materials and dangerous goods. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks across assigned routes. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA safety standards. Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques or forklift assistance when necessary, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport. Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods following all hazardous materials regulations to maintain safety for yourself and others. Manage delivery driving tasks including route planning, delivery scheduling, and customer interactions to provide excellent service. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, inspection reports, and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL license (Class A preferred). Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely over long distances on OTR routes. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and automobile transportation is highly desirable. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling including load & unload procedures for freight such as freight containers or hazardous goods. Experience with route driving involving GPS navigation systems for efficient routing across diverse terrains. Understanding of FMCSA regulations related to hours of service, vehicle maintenance standards, and hazardous materials handling. Prior delivery driver experience emphasizing safety protocols and customer service excellence is a plus. Join us in delivering excellence on every mile!
