Semi-Trailer Service Technician

Build the best. Then keep making it better. Western Trailers is seeking a dependable Semi-Trailer Service Technician to join our Boise service team. This position performs trailer repairs and maintenance, including air brake systems, electrical troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving mechanical problems, and working with a team, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-trailer air brake systems. Diagnose and repair trailer electrical issues. Perform welding and fabrication work. Work independently and with other technicians to complete repairs. Support quality service and a positive customer experience. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Strong mechanical and technical skills. Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair. Experience with semi-trailer air brake systems, welding, and fabrication is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to communicate effectively and follow work and safety instructions. Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for most of the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
