About us Northwest Trailer Center Inc 6518 E Dean Ave, Spokane Valley We are a Semi-Trailer service and repair shop specializing in HD trailers, box trucks, liftgates, and some truck work. We are looking for a Trailer Mechanic who knows bodywork to join the team at Northwest Trailer Center in Spokane. Located right off the freeway just 2 blocks north of the Broadway truck stop we are an easy commute. Our shop hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday and our employees enjoy their nights and weekends off. Northwest Trailer Center is locally owned and managed. We are looking for an experienced individual for Semi-Trailer and Box Truck repair. We are specifically looking for someone who can do bodywork . If you know what that is and have experience with it then we have an opportunity. We are looking for someone who can also do other repairs when the workload requires it. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of mechanic experience with Semi-Trailers. -Body Work experience (rails, panels, corner caps, etc.) -Roof Replacement -Rear door repair and/or replace (swing and roll-up) -Electrical troubleshooting and repair -ABS troubleshooting and repair -Liftgate experience with troubleshooting, repair, and installation -Welding and Fabrication -Brakes and suspension work (mechanical) -Wood work on flooring and interior paneling -Documentation and thorough job write-up -Accurate tracking of parts used No two days are the same as we get a mixed bag. You will get true variety here. We need someone who can do the fabrication, the wood work, the sheet metal work, and have the carpentry skills to make things straight and square. Being able to document plus having the attention to detail to do the jobs right. This is a Journeyman position.
