Semi Trailer Mechanic

Overview We are seeking a skilled mobile Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various types of trailers, ensuring they are safe and operational. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including inspections and diagnostics. Utilize hand tools and equipment to repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake adjustments, preventative maintenance, and suspension repairs. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards. Skills Proficient in equipment repair with a focus on trailers and related machinery. Strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper usage in mechanical repair tasks. Experience in vehicle maintenance, including automotive repair techniques. Solid understanding of electrical systems related to trailer operations. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
