This semi-local CDL-A job in Elwood, IL delivers no-touch freight to stores around Chicago, Minneapolis, Green Bay, Des Moines and St. Louis. Most of the work is drop & hook, you pick your own start time, and there's extra money if you want a 6th day. Pay & Bonuses $0.61–$0.64 per mile, with a 1-cent raise each year up to the maximum rate. $100 weekly attendance bonus for working 5 days. $6 per stop, plus $12 per drop & hook. $6 for every 15 minutes of waiting at a stop. $200 holiday pay per day, starting right away. $225–$350 per day for outsource work. $200 per day during paid training. Schedule & Home Time Monday–Friday schedule, weekends off. Choose your own start time between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Approximately 12-hour workdays. Routes & Freight Multi-stop deliveries from Elwood, IL to stores in IL, IN, WI, MO, IA, MN, and MI. No-touch freight. Mostly drop & hook. Backhauls to the Chicago area. Equipment Freightliner or International automatic trucks. Assigned truck with no slip seating. No passengers allowed. Endorsement Requirement Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire. Course and endorsement costs reimbursed once you have it. Requirements Valid Class A CDL. Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience. No SAP drivers. Clean driving record.
