We're looking for a Production Planning and Scheduling Manager for our Surface Engineering Maintenance Assist Team (SEMAT) Combat Systems team in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will lead a team that performs crucial maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on Combat Systems equipment for ships in the Pacific Fleet. Essential Job Responsibilities Lead the team conducting maintenance on Combat Systems equipment onboard USN ships located in the Pacific Fleet. Oversee and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project teams (USN shipboard leadership and Combat Systems Port Engineers), and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares daily/weekly/monthly status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers and clients (USN shipboard leadership and Combat Systems Port Engineers). Minimum Qualifications 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
