As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support security-related procedures. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Assist with traffic flow and driver check-in procedures in accordance with site policies, escalating unusual activity or access discrepancies to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
