As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Alarm Response in Kutztown, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Valid Driver's License (AU Driver Policy Requirements - C123): Candidates must possess a valid driver's license. This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. Familiarity with security protocols is crucial for maintaining workplace safety. Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm operations and emergency response procedures. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is necessary. Candidates must be comfortable navigating software applications and performing tasks digitally. Customer Service Experience (B219): A background in customer service is essential. Candidates should exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues. How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed. Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, unsecured doors or gates, and other security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
