Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed - Warehouse in Summerville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.99 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Tue 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Wed 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Thur 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and support visitor management processes by verifying authorization, maintaining required logs, and reporting access irregularities. Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
