As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by screening people and items, monitoring access points, documenting activity, and communicating concerns to site leadership. This is a driving post, so you may also perform mobile checks as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and drivers during entry and exit, including verifying identification, checking authorization, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process.
• Monitor screening areas, access points, and loading or receiving activity for unusual conditions, and report concerns per site guidelines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or loss.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and escalating notifications according to post orders.
• Conduct required inspections of packages, bags, and/or vehicles as assigned, and maintain accurate logs for deliveries, visitor activity, and screening results.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
