As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor and contractor authorization, directing delivery drivers, and reporting access-control irregularities according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, unusual activity, and restricted-area access. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
